As the name suggests, the VIP modular expansion joint is used in areas where aesthetic requirements must be met. In airports, hospitals, hotels and offices where the expansion joint is constantly in the public eye, the wabo VIP gives a visually pleasing impression.
The joint consists of several elastomeric moveable seals housed between a series of consecutive metal separators.
The VIP modular system can be adapted for a variety of architectural needs and a range of movement capabilities up to 6”. The edge members and separators, which can be manufactured from stainless steel, aluminum or other desired metals, can be transported to fit virtually every floor-to-floor or floor-to-wall joint.
