After years of perfecting better designs in expansion joints, Watson bowman acme has developed a series of pre-formed compression seals. One of which will be suitable for your project. Constructed of heavy-duty elastomeric materials, these compression seals are designed to maintain maximum leak proofing throughout the full range of expansion and contraction. Seals with movement capabilities up to 3-1/8 inch, suitable for parking decks, water treatment plants and vehicular traffic areas with heavy-duty applications, are designated by letter WA, WJ and WG. Seals for lower stress applications and smaller movements (to 1 inch) are in the WB and WC line. The WE and WF series of compression seals are ideal for high pedestrian traffic areas.
